ON SITE

We are happy to inform you that on site you can avail of diverse fun and sports facilities : a 5m x 10m swimming pool, a MULTI-PURPOSE SPORTS GROUND for ball games, a TABLE-TENNIS table and of course, a PÉTANQUE strip. (This is for traditional French bowling- why not give it a try!)

The comfort and well-being of our guests being our first consideration, availability times of these facilities are limited to guarantee periods of tranquility throughout the day. Also, please note that we do not employ a lifeguard – parents will need to supervise their own children when using the pool.


  • POOL open (unsupervised): from 10 am to 1 pm  and from 3pm to 7pm.
  • MULTI-PURPOSE SPORTS GROUND: available 2h per day, by reservation.
  • PÉTANQUE strip available from 10am to 8pm.

The historical monuments of Orange, its impressive Roman amphitheater and it’s Arc de Triomphe. Come discover the internationally famous summer opera and lyrical art festival “Les Chorégies d’Orange” from  June to August.

MORNAS

The walled, cliff-top village of Mornas , and its huge feudal fortress towers, chateau, chapels and stone walls to protect the medieval village. You may encounter costumed monks, knights and damsels who act out medieval roles, interacting and chatting with the visitors who are invited to travel in time. Visits possible from February to November.

VAISON LA ROMAINE

Discover the richness of the archeological site of the remains of Vaison la Romaine, once home to a Roman colony. In Villasse, archeological digs have revealed immense, luxurious, and elaborate Gallo Roman homes, streets and stores dating back 2000 years, with floors in mosaic, marble, marquetry, statues, ponds, atriums and private thermal baths, all showing life in Roman times. From February to end of December.

AVIGNON

Explore the historical and cultural heritage of Avignon : its ancient walls that circle the town protectively, its Papal Palace (few know that the papal home was relocated to France during the middle-ages and that this is the largest Gothic palace in Europe) and of course, its renowned Pont d’Avignon, bridge over the Rhone. (From here you can take a trip on the Rhone River, pick up Provencal souvenirs or visit the Angladon museum and its wonderful collection of art works by masters like Van Gogh, Picasso and Degas.) Each year the “City of the Popes” hosts the famous “In and Off” Theatre Festival Along with the official “in” festival, some 900 theatrical groups participate in the fringe “off”-festival transforming the city into an huge and exhilarating artistic melting pot! The Festival of Avignon will take place in July.

Take a stroll through the many Provencal markets and get to know our regional specialities (olives, melons, honey, nougat, truffles in winter and the famous Provence garlic. (celebrated on the last weekend of August in Piolenc)

  • Market day in Carpentras on Fridays.

Wander the Wine Route (Route des vins) and sample the wines that dreams are made of, so renowned that they need no introduction :

  • Châteauneuf du Pape.
  • Gigondas.
  • Vacqueyras, etc…

And last but not least, and maybe not even last The Gruss Circus (a few kilometers away, in Piolenc) where you can enjoy the show, participate in a circus training course or just visit and view.
